What is TVG?

TVG is an online US horse racing operator, owned by the TVG Network. They provide horse race live streaming, allowing you to bet as you watch races. In addition, they provide full schedules covering races in the US as well as international races.

Also, go back and take a look at results if you happened to miss the live stream. If you don’t want to spoil the fun by checking out the results you can also re-watch past races. Search for race replays and filter them by date, horse, and track.

Plus, learn more about horse racing by reading the horse racing insider blog. The blog teaches all about races, horses, and jockeys. This way, make more informed wagers when betting on horse racing.

There are also quite a few TVG promotions available that you can get. You can also check out the holiday bonus bonanza and earn some extra holiday cash during the winter season.

Where is TVG Legal for Bettors?

The TVG website only explicitly includes states from the United States as legal places to use the operator. This does not imply that the bookie is not legal elsewhere (read on for what this means).

The information included in the table is based on betting regulations from all over the world, in addition to analyzing what the definition of betting is, and whether or not it includes horse racing. Usually, horse racing betting is legal even when other sports aren’t clear to bet on. However, sometimes it is not referred to in the law, leaving a regulatory gap.

Neither legal nor illegal?

In some countries, they are neither legal nor illegal due to a grey area in the legal system. It usually concerns the definition of what betting and gambling are. In many countries, horse racing isn’t explicitly contrary to the act of betting due to religion or regulation but is frowned upon.

Make sure that you ensure that your operations are legal and that you adhere to additional betting and or gambling rules of your location. In the event that you are not permitted to bet, but do it anyway, you might suffer from regulatory repercussions such as fines or imprisonment.

If you are unsure whether the country you are in can provide you with TVG’s services legally, you can give the operator a call or you can contact your betting authorities to find out whether or not you can legally operate it.

Keep in mind that even though you can access the operator and bet on races, this does not mean that it is legal for you to bet using the operator. You should also take into consideration any tax obligations in your country.
